Important agricultural company it is looking for a financial controller with at least 4-5 years of previous experience in a similar role. The selected candidate must have an excellent level of excel and a high level of English.

¿Qué harás en tu nuevo puesto?

Financial Administration

  • Data input of purchase invoices
  • Data input of sales invoices
  • Credit control including payment run preparation
  • Company secretary duties
  • Payroll preparation and filings



Financial Management

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Reconciliation of Balance Sheet
  • Preparation of annual financial statements
  • Leading the year end audit
  • Preparation of all statutory filings
  • Preparation of budgets, working with farm managers to complete
  • Preparation of cashflows, working with farm managers and investment team for capex and opex requirements



Tax Support

  • Preparation and filing of VAT returns
  • Preparation and filing of annual tax returns that are applicable to the business
  • Assist with CBC tax reporting

¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA preferred).
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written in Spanish and English. Portuguese would also be advantageous.
  • Prior experience managing multiple entities.
  • Prior experience in all areas of the finance function.
  • Experience in agriculture sectors would be preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to work on own and without team while the company is still in its early stages
