Objectives, Tasks & Responsibilities

  1. Business Development & Account Management
  • Hunt and gather new opportunities (e.g. new customers; upsell opportunities) and thus, contribute to the realization of the annual sales objectives
  • A 'challenger' sales personality - the ability to change the perceptions of clients and potential clients in the market.
  • Good knowledge of the Transport industry; ensuring the right questions are asked.
    • Maintain and develop a commercial relationship with the existing client portfolio
  • Consistently identify new business opportunities at existing and potential customers and local partners to ensure sustained profitable growth
  • Build and follow up on sales pipelines for business expansion in full transparency with management and group partners
  • Converting the leads into signed contracts

  1. Channel Coordination
  • Support Marketing and Sales actions with indirect partners in order to constantly improve lead generation and thus sales activity

  1. Customer management
  • Build trusting, collaborative relationships with clients of all levels by meeting the customers, diagnosing and developing solutions in order to solve their problem or help them reach their goal.
  • Agree on a planning with customers and managing this planning, make quotations and manage all the participants to your own sales cycle.
  • Trigger the technical team and the after sales processes, to ensure the correct installation, implementation and training level, in order to guarantee customer satisfaction
  • Making sure that all new customers are delighted, ready to reference and making customer cases, and so reducing the churn

  1. Marketing
  • Provide needed input for marketing, in order to continuously improve the customer experience & to set up the right lead generation programs.
  • Participate in marketing events (trade fairs, shows, seminars, telesales campaigns, etc.)

Perfil buscado (h/m)

  • Bachelor or Master degree
  • Knowledge of the transport sector is a must
  • CRM experience a must (Ideally
  • Strong ability to build lasting relations with customers and develop new business
  • Loves autonomy, self-starter, dynamic and results oriented
  • Work requires regular local (Spain (to be added: with regular hotel) and very limited international travel to current and potential clients
  • Spanish and English are a must. Any other language is an asset.
